Whatever the season, Les Baux-de-Provence is one of the most touristic places in the region. With its 500 inhabitants, this village welcomes more than a million visitors every year, charmed by the authenticity of its Provençal architecture.

 

The village of Les Baux-de-Provence located in the heart of the Alpilles is classified and labeled one of the most beautiful villages in France. A title which is due to its 22 architectural elements classified as Historic Monuments such as its fortress, its church, its chapels, its stone houses.

 

Also called the lighthouse of Provence, this village hosts every year in the heart of the Carrières de Lumières various digital exhibitions by Dali, Gaudi or even Van Gogh projected on the limestone stones, for an immersive show in art and music. This Cathedral of Image had the chance in 2021 to welcome the great fashion house Chanel for one of its parades.

 

In addition, discover the Citadel of Les Baux located at the end of the village on 7 hectares to contemplate the imprints of the past: ruins of the medieval castle, exhibition, chapel, etc.
